Rainbow Indigo Crystal Kids are angels who have something to say to our hearts.  RICK kids compose lyrics to electronic music they create. RICK kids expand their projects by recording a vocal accompaniment.  Each recording is professionally mixed, mastered and produced by Angela Hope.

Welcome from Angela

Greetings friends, teachers, family, administrators and loyal "villagers!" It is a tremendous time to be alive right now as our Earth is literally ascending from 3D to 5D consciousness.  As Earth's vibration ascends so does everything else on the planet.  Everything and everyone around us is expanding to embody more light and love.  Millions of people from all walks of life around the globe are reporting  feeling awake all of a sudden as if every moment before that was like sleep-walking.  Awakened beings are more aware that their thoughts create their reality.   As the Earth ascends life can become quite challenging.  Many of us who chose to be present at this time are here to help each other get through this process.  Some of these beings are known as Indigo, Rainbow and Crystal children. They are also known as "lightworkers" and their sole purpose is to change the world by raising our vibrations.   Through their struggles, challenges and triumphs these children have messages that need to be heard and I am here to help them do that.

I became aware of being an Indigo adult several years ago.  As a child I always felt different, out of place, and aware that my life had a bigger purpose involving helping and healing other people.  I was classified as a "gifted" child when teachers discovered I knew things without knowing how or why  I knew them.  I excelled in school when I applied myself but often found the classroom boring and tedious.  That created a rich fantasy life in which I discovered a passion for reading, writing, acting, dancing and anything artistic.  At the age of 6 I discovered music and that I had a natural singing voice.  I also loved many of my teachers and knew that I would combine all these interests one day and become a teacher to kids who were like me.

Life for me was a constant struggle to be heard and understood.  I felt different and like who I was naturally was something weird.  I longed to fit in with others and have friends but the world felt harsh, cruel and miserable.  Where I started out at a very young age as open, alive and free, I discovered the hard way that who and what I was as a sensitive and creative soul was something to suppress.  I became alone, withdrawn and afraid.  Over time I began to lose touch with my authentic self.   I invented a false self to present to the world only to discover I still didn't feel accepted or like I belonged.  I was forever  misunderstood, strange and even told I was crazy.   Eventually that false self came crashing down and became the darkest period of my life.  In the wake of personal tragedy and great loss I understood clearly that if I was to survive I needed to get real or remain lost.  I got real!

Everything I have experienced in my life has  brought me full circle.  In my story life circumstances forced me to become rooted and grounded in who I REALLY am and why I am on this planet.  It has always been to help heal and transform lives.  Creating Rainbow Indigo Crystal Kids is a culmination of my experiences as a creative being and educator.  Since 2004 I have been bringing a music studio into the classroom to help kids express themselves in writing and recording their words as song, spoken word, or however they choose to emote.  They are able to perform their pieces in front of an audience or simply share them as they see fit.  Over the years I have recorded and shared these treasures and I've witnessed how profound their works are.  So many songs have inspired others as well as transformed their lives changing them for the better forever.  Our children's voices must be heard as they hold the keys to our future and our freedom.  It is my desire, my joy and delight to share their messages.  My hope is to create a better world for them and for us all.

Many blessings

Love and Light

We're Special!!

Of course we believe every person on the planet is special. Rainbow Indigo and Crystal Children (also known as Star Children) are seen by the New Age and metphysical fields as an upgraded blueprint of humanity.  Developed in the 1970s by Nancy Ann Tappe and further developed by Jan Tober and Lee Carroll, the term Indigo Child first came up when addressing the aura colors of these very different kids. Prior to their predominance, human auric fields were expected shades of the rainbow.   The Indigos’ field, however, was dominated by this royal blue color which established a change of course for humanity.

Indigo Children began incarnating on the earth in the 1960's and early 70's. The Indigo Children have been incarnating on the Earth for the last 100 years. The early Indigos were pioneers and wayshowers. After World War II, a significant number were born, and these are the Indigo adults of today. However, in the 1970s a major wave of Indigos was born, and so we have a whole generation of Indigos who are now in their forties and early fifties who are about to take their place as leaders in the world.  Indigos continued to be born up to about 2000 with increasing abilities and degrees of technological and creative sophistication.

Angela Jackson-Margolis (stage name Angela Hope) is a UCLA Graduate with a B.A. in English which she received with a full academic scholarship from General Telephone.  Graduating with some impressive  theatre training and credits under her belt, Angela began singing professionally as a studio session singer.  She was given the role as Tisha Cambell's understudy in the lead role of  "Tanya," in a musical entitled, "The High Life" playing at the legendary Coronet Theatre in West Hollywood, CA.   Before the show opened, Ms. Cambell had to suddenly depart.   Angela took on the lead role as the oldest and willful of three teenage gospel singers who, after deciding to leave singing in church for a bogus contract given to them by two con artists, found themselves penniless, estranged from God and broken.  Legendary Soul Singer, Barry White, enjoyed Angela's performance and invited her to Solar Records to audition as a background vocalist for his The Man Is Back World Tour.  Angela had written a song specifically for the audition.  Mr. White complimented Angela on her ability to sing a song with a sultry flavor.   Soon Angela was being highly sought as a session singer by producers like Peter Bunetta, Rick Chudacoff, and Nick Trevisick of Tori Amos and Five Star fame to name a few.  Having little to no songwriting training, Angela wanted to challenge her writing and vocal ranges to deliver a song to Nick that would at the very least not make her look like a fool and at best contain potential for a good house track.  What Nick and Angela created was a pumping dance house beat  with catchy lyrics about the  importance of self-love.  The song, "Positively Love" was eventually recorded by Auerus Warlock artist, Miari, and became a modest UK dance hit.

Angela always wanted to be a teacher and the opportunity came in 2001 to combine all of her talents when she was hired as a long-term Resource substitute teacher at 74th Street in Los Angeles, CA.  She assisted the lead teacher with helping mild to moderate special education students grades K-5.  She administered KTEA and Brigance tests, sat in on IEPs and helped maintain compliance with IEPs.  In the Fall  she was hired full-time as a First Grade teacher.  Tragedy struck only a few days later when the twin towers fell on Tuesday, September 11 in a terrorist attack.  That morning Angela sang the "Star Spangled Banner" to bring the school community together.   It remains a tradition by the school today.

After teaching First Grade for two years Angela decided she had enough classroom experience to pitch an idea for recording music in the classroom to a non-profit.  Los Angeles Theatre Works (LATW) liked her idea and hired her as an artist in their Arts and Children department.  Through a generous grant, Angela took her recording studio into juvenile detention camps and community day schools run by the Los Angeles Department of Education (LACOE).  The program was a major success for several years until funding discontinued in 2008 with the economy collapse.

Angela took advantage of this time to learn how to mix and master songs to professional radio ready quality.  She wrote, sang, produced, mixed and mastered her first cd, "Time For Love," which was released on cdbaby.com and can be heard on iTunes, Amazon, Soundcloud, Reverbnation and many other music sharing sites.

It was during a trip in 2014 that the vision of creating her own non-profit to service the needs of the youth came into focus.  Angela spent the next few years on planning and development.  Rainbow, Indigo, Crystal Kids was launched in 2016.
